We have carried Nutcase helmets for many years and many people have asked us why they can't seem to find them anywhere anymore. Nutcase, a relatively small and independent company, was recently acquired by Bravo Sports, a much larger sporting goods company. We have seen this type of consolidation too many times over the years and it usually never ends well for the small business sector. The larger companies often don't want to deal with small businesses, or ignore Canada as a whole - it's a smaller market to service then California. Bravo has told us they will not be shipping Nutcase helmets to Canada until they set up a Canadian distribution warehouse, and have not provided a timeline as to when that might happen, so regretfully we're not holding our breath hoping to see any Nutcase helmets this year. Fingers crossed for next year!
